No matter the weather outside keep amused inside and outside. The Bangor Mall Cinemas for example, is conveniently located nearby, there is also Hollywood Cinemas on the Odlin Road that offers the latest movies in a smaller setting. If live shows are more your speed, both the Gracie Theatre at Husson University and the Penobscot Theater which is downtown are exciting options.

Music lovers will truly stay entertained in Bangor. Darlings Waterfront Pavilion is the biggest stage in the Bangor area in the summer months. As part of the Waterfront Concert Series some of the biggest names in music have performed over the years. Country music is extremely popular, but all genres of music have been wonderfully represented and there is definitely something for all musical tastes.
In the cooler months the Cross Insurance Center and Collins Center for the Arts (University of Maine at Orono) take over and play host to events ranging from the Nutcracker to the Harlem Globetrotters.
The Orono Bog Walk and the Bangor City Forest both provide a great opportunity to enjoy the sunshine and stretch your legs. There are also many great parks in the area where you can have a picnic or spend a quiet afternoon!
